The OAR: The only content framework you need this spring
Spring is here, and with it comes longer days, new backdrops, and a whole lot of content potential. Before you start posting, there's one simple framework to keep in mind that will make every video work harder for you.
Outrageous
This is the content that stops a thumb mid-scroll. Think: a car going off a cliff, a jaw-dropping home, or a headline like "I made $50K from ONE brand deal." Outrageous content works because it hooks immediately, earns replays, and drives saves, shares, and conversation. If people are talking about it, the algorithm is paying attention.
Aspirational
This is the content that makes someone think, "I want to live like that." Your dream home taking shape. A physique transformation. A wardrobe that feels intentional. You are your followers' guide to becoming a version of themselves they're working toward, and that's a powerful place to be. Aspirational content is also the sweet spot for organic product placement. More importantly, it's what drives follows.
Relatable
This is the content that makes people feel seen. "POV: you said you'd wake up at 5am... and didn't." Behind-the-scenes struggles from your business. The honest moment in between the polished ones. Relatability builds connection. Connection builds trust. Trust builds conversions. And conversions? That's what builds brand partnerships. Don't underestimate this pillar.
Before you hit post on any new spring content, run it through the filter: Is this video outrageous, aspirational, or relatable? If the answer is yes, you're good to go. If it's none of the above, it might be worth a rethink.
Which one are you leading with this season?
